This Magento 1.9 module connects Magento with GLS shipment carrier API. The module fully fits to the Magento shipment system. When shipment created from an order, the GLS parcel also created. Allow bulk shipment creation, and it’s possible to create custom labels (normal, pick & ship, exchange, etc.) from Magento backend. The module tracks the parcel, and makes automatic order status updates based on the shipment status. Example: Shipment created -> order status: Shipped, then shipment arrived to the customer -> status: Delivered, then delivered and paid -> status: Completed. It’s also capable to track COD payments status via imap email connection, and if the payment is in the daily GLS COD report, the module sets the order invoice(s) to paid. So if the system has a proper invoice provider integration, then the invoice also gets paid in the external invoice system.
